Jessie and Janet have a deep concern and a vested interest to help make

DeSoto County safe and secure for all of our familes!

 

Because who you are has a lot to do with where you have been, I want to briefly share a few facts about

my life. I was born on February 2, 1953 in DeSoto County. My parents were Lealon and Lillian Medlin.

I was the eighth of nine children. My family was rich in many way, but financially we did not have much,

therefore, I learned to work hard and plan for tomorrow. My parents taught us that your word is as

good as your signature and that family values are a way of life and it is not just a campaign slogan.

 

In 1974 I married Janet Lawson and we  have been blessed with three great children – Kevin, Brett, and

Stacey. Kevin is married to Melissa Camburn and they gave us two precious grandchildren, Maycee and

Audree. Brett is married to Mandy Lancaster of Germantown and has also given us another precious

grandchild, Lance. Our daughter Stacey is married to Garrett Elliott of Holly Springs.

 

We are lifelong residents of DeSoto County. DeSoto County is my home and I care about the future of my family and yours. I wish to continue to serve as your Supervisor in District 1. I love DeSoto County and want to continue our efforts to make it a great place to live, work, and raise a family.  I am available and anxious to hear from you.
