To the Citizens of District 1,

In the still uncertain economic times we face I feel that as an experienced public servant, I have the qualifications necessary to make the tough decisions so that we continue to control spending and hold the line on taxes. I will continue manage the county’s funds in an efficient and effective manner.

For the past 23 years it has been my honor to serve as your Supervisor. I understand that the our citizens work hard for their pay and the taxes collected by the county are to be used for the benefit of the citizens and should be managed no less diligently that I would manage my own funds.

In asking for your vote on August 4th for Supervisor, I promise to:

  • Continue to support education at all levels

  • Continue to support law enforcement as our citizens’ safety is of the highest priority

  • Manage resources to keep your property taxes as low as possible and ensure you receive the service you deserve from your county

  • Continue to respond as quickly as possible to phone calls, emails and messages received. My phone number is published and hasn’t change in 41 years

I was born in DeSoto County, grew up in the Cedar Hill area and raised my family here. I am proud to say all three of our children graduated from Olive Branch High School and the University of Mississippi. I want to protect DeSoto County for them and for my grandchildren. I’m fully committed to serving the citizens of District 1 and concerned with the rest of the county.

I am always willing to listen to your comments and concerns about our County. Give me a call and I promise to do what I can to answer questions or provide assistance if I can. My home number is 662-895-6177 and my personal cell number is 901-496-0702. Look forward to hearing from any and all of the citizens of DeSoto County.

Thank you and I would appreciate your vote.
